About the Course

This online training series brings together experienced practitioners and specialists to explore how trauma-informed thinking can support Educational Psychotherapy practice across a range of clinical and educational contexts. Designed for Educational Psychotherapists, trainees, therapists, and allied professionals working with children and young people, the series offers reflective, practice-based learning grounded in relational and developmental approaches. Across six sessions, speakers will explore nervous system regulation, creativity, adoption, bereavement, and working with trauma as it emerges within Educational Psychotherapy sessions.

About the trainers

This series brings together a diverse group of experienced Educational Psychotherapists and therapeutic practitioners, each bringing specialist knowledge and extensive experience of working with children, young people, families, and schools. Drawing on expertise across trauma-informed practice, Polyvagal Theory, creativity, adoption, bereavement, and relational therapeutic work, the trainers combine clinical insight with practical experience in educational settings. Together, they offer thoughtful, practice-based learning grounded in therapeutic relationships, emotional development, and real-world work with children and young people.
